Cultivate at Scale: An Independent Company
We are an enthusiastic team of cell culture experts dedicated to advanced cellular agriculture technologies, and proud to be part of the Cellular Agriculture Netherlands (CAN) ecosystem. This allows us to collaborate within a broader network dedicated to advancing cellular agriculture, while continuing to pursue our own direction and initiatives in the cultivated meat sector.
A Natural Evolution
Our facility was originally set up as a pilot- and production facility for Mosa Meat, but at the beginning of 2025, we split off from Mosa Meat and are continuing our journey as an open access facility, offering our services to all companies working in cellular agriculture.
Hence, whether you're developing cultivated meat, dairy, or other cell-based products, you can now access our space and resources to scale up your production. We're here to support the next generation of food innovation.
What Does This Mean for Cultivate at Scale?
As an independent company, we have the freedom to fully dedicate ourselves to advancing cellular agriculture technologies. Our mission remains the same: to develop and scale sustainable, high-quality food products through cellular agriculture.
As part of Cellular Agriculture Netherlands—a collaborative network supporting the growth of the field, we recognize the urgency of scaling production. Our facility is open to all companies worldwide working in cellular agriculture, offering a shared space to advance innovation and build global production capabilities.
We strive to build and cultivate partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders across the food industry, including food producers and researchers. These collaborations will help accelerate innovation, scale production, and bring cellular agriculture solutions to the market faster.
Looking to the Future
As we step into this new phase, we are filled with excitement about what lies ahead. The world’s appetite for sustainable food solutions is growing rapidly and Cultivate at Scale is positioned to meet that demand head-on.
Moving forward, we will:
Support the development of new products that leverage the latest advancements in cellular agriculture technology, by enabling companies to demonstrate the scalability of their processes in our facility, facilitating process design and optimization as well as data generation for regulatory submission
Continue scaling our production capabilities, bringing down costs, and making lab-grown meat and fish more accessible to consumers.
Build new and strong partnerships to propel innovation and bring about real change in the food industry.
We are eager to continue this path, and we’re grateful for the support of our partners, investors, and the entire cellular agriculture community as we chart this exciting new course.
