Ivo van der Meulen
Originally from The Netherlands, Ivo has a Bachelor in Applied Biolology and a specialization in high- tech agriculture. He previously worked in the world of beer brewing as a brewer and filtration specialist.
He decided to work in cellular agriculture, because he wanted to be part of the food industry improvement and make the world a better place. With his background and recent work experience at Mosa Meat he’s ready to help scale up!
Ivo’s responsibilities at CAS are to make sure the equipment, machines and building are working properly. He’s also working on the daily production processes.
Besides his work, Ivo likes hiking, traveling and cooking. He also likes to embraces the local traditions. Whether it’s wearing a funny costume during Vasteloaved (Carnaval), eating vlaai at every possible moment, or wandering through the 'mountains' (okay, let’s be real, they’re hills) of Limburg.
