QC & Production Specialist

Originally from Greece, Apostolos studied environmental sciences, specializing in molecular biology and environmental microbiology. With this background he has a deep understanding of cellular processes, microbial ecosystems, and the dynamics that drive environmental sustainability.
Motivated by a desire to contribute to transformative global change, he chose to focus his career on cellular agriculture. This innovative field allows him to merge his scientific expertise with his passion for shaping a sustainable future.
Apostolos’ responsibilities at CAS include media and equipment preparation, hands-on involvement with the execution of bioreactor runs, as well as being the point of contact for questions regarding quality control (QC), a critical component for production. With a methodical approach and attention to detail, he oversees testing protocols, analyzes outcomes, and implements corrective actions to ensure consistency and compliance.
In his free time, he enjoys reading books, delving into new areas of knowledge, and philosophizing about life, always seeking to deepen his understanding and broaden his perspective.
